The studio
We design homes and the rooms inside them, starting with light, proportion and the way people actually live.
Then we choose materials that age well and details that stay out of the way. The building and the interior are drawn by one team, so the house feels like one thing.
About the studio
Walk through
We start with the plot: where the sun rises, where the wind comes from, what the neighbours see.
The house sits low in the grass, so you meet the landscape before the building.
Light comes in through linen and lands on oak. Rooms sit where the sun reaches them.
After dark the house glows from within, quiet and warm.
What we do
New homes and extensions, from site study and concept to planning and construction drawings.
Layouts, joinery, lighting, finishes and furniture, drawn together with the building.
Reworking an existing house so it feels lighter and works better, keeping what is good about it.
